Nestled on a subdivided site in Ocean Grove, this project overcomes challenging site conditions, including significant fall and restricted access, to deliver a high-quality design outcome. Embracing a contemporary gabled design, the home showcases distinctive external and internal articulation, with vaulted ceilings lending a sense of spaciousness to the living room. Timber cladding and dark Colorbond roofing create a striking contrast against the traditional white weatherboards, paying homage to the coastal design vernacular of Ocean Grove. Timber pergolas elegantly frame the entrance and outdoor entertaining area, as well as the inviting plunge pool.

Sustainability Focus: Throughout the home, double-glazed windows, particularly those facing north, work in harmony with optimised eaves and open pergolas to harness the warmth of winter sun while mitigating heat in the summer months. This thoughtful approach to passive solar design ensures comfortable living conditions year-round while minimising energy consumption.
